Everyone eats paneer curry . You can eat it at any party or anytime you make it at home, but the most important thing is that you always find the taste of the restaurant even in the simple eating of the house. At home, your husband or children all say that making paneer curry like that restaurant. What makes such restaurant people special in their curry that they become so tasty. If you have noticed, then you would know that there are many vegetarian and non vegetarian vegetables which have the same gravy. curry gravy only enhances its taste. In such a situation, if you are going to make cheese vegetable at home, then if you make its gravy special, then your curry will become delicious on its own. All gravy cheese will start licking fingers and its taste will increase their appetite.

Ingredients to make Paneer Curry : -
  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Cashews - 6-7
  • Tomato - 2 (puree)
  • Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Green cardamom - 2
  • Clove - 2
  • Mace - 1 small piece
  • Cinnamon - 1 small piece
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Kasuri Methi - little bit
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon or as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
Note: Before making gravy, soak cashew nuts in half a cup of warm water. After 10 minutes, grind cashews soaked in hot water in a grinder and make a paste.

Method of preparation of Paneer Gravy: -
  • Take a nonstick pan, add oil to it. When the oil is hot, then add all the spices in it.
  • When they start roasting in oil then you will know that they are ready with their smell.
  • Now add onion and fry it well. When the onion starts to brown then add ginger and garlic paste to it and fry it together.




  • When the ginger and garlic start to mix well with the onion, then add tomato  to it.Add salt to it and cook it well.
  • When this mixture is roasted well, the oil will start separating from the mixture. Then you put red chilli and coriander powder in it.
  • Add cashew paste and fry it for 1 minute.When the paste starts roasting with the mixture, you add water to it. Add water carefully so that the gravy does not become too thin.
  • After adding water, add garam masala and kasuri methi to it. Keep in mind that when you add Kasuri methi to the curry, rub it on the palm before placing it. This will make its powder and it will taste good in the curr.



  • Now add 2 inch pieces of chopped cottage cheese and cook it with gravy for 5 minutes.
  • Your gravy paneer curry is ready.


Tips: If you do not want this gravy only with paneer, then if you mix potato, mushroom, soy in anyone, then it will become its curry . You can serve gravy paneer with roti, parantha, naan or rice.
