Suji ke Papad recipe :

MATERIAL :-


  • 1/2 cup semolina
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed red chilli or black pepper (optional) as required

METHOD :-

STEP 1: Heat 1 spoon of oil in a vessel, add cumin seeds, add water, crushed red chili or black pepper and salt.

STEP 2: After a boil, add semolina slowly, stirring continuously so that the kernels do not fall. And let it cook for a minute on low heat.



STEP 3: Meanwhile, keep some oil on a large plastic sheet and keep it ready.

STEP 4: The mixture should not be too thick, turn off the heat.

STEP 5: Now with the help of a spoon, pour the mixture on a plastic sheet and spread it as thin as possible (giving shape of round papad).



STEP 6: All papads should be prepared in a similar way by making a small distance. Dry semolina papad in strong sunlight for two days.



STEP 7: After drying completely, fry in hot oil and serve.



STEP 8: Delicious semolina papad is ready.

Note: - The thinner the papad spreads, the better it will become.
